greytHR Punch

Signs you in and out of your company's greytHR on a schedule, from Slack.

How it works

1. Add the app to your Slack workspace.
2. Type /punch connect. Enter your company's greytHR address (yourcompany.greythr.com), your Employee No and your greytHR password. The app tests the login before it stores anything.
3. It clicks Sign In and Sign Out on weekdays (08:50 and 18:10 IST unless you change them with /punch time). It skips holidays and approved leave that it reads from greytHR, plus any days you add, and DMs you each result.

Your data

• Your greytHR password is stored encrypted on the server that runs this app. Whoever runs that server could decrypt it. It is only ever sent to *.greythr.com.
• The app also keeps your schedule, days off, leaves read from greytHR, run history and screenshots of your greytHR home page.
• /punch forget deletes all of it and stops the punches. Removing the app from a workspace does the same for everyone in it. A log of consent and usage (what ran, when, for whom; never passwords) is kept.

An independent tool, not made by or affiliated with greytHR or any employer. Attendance stays your responsibility, and it's up to you to check that your employer's policy allows automated punching.
